Alison Weissinger-President
Rotary connects people. Together, we see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change – across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves.
President's Message
Welcome to the Rotary Club of Decatur! I am honored to serve as Club President for the
2025-2026 year and humbled by the confidence my fellow Rotarians have placed in me.
I look forward to being of service as we continue to grow our club!
As Rotarians in Decatur, we are people of action who care deeply about our community
and stand ready to help in ways big and small. Whether we are participating in
workdays at Legacy Park, adopting a house for the annual MLK Service Day project,
delivering food to a local shelter, hosting Rotary Youth Exchange students, or raising
funds for local nonprofits, we are ready to “Unite for Good” this year!
If you want to:
meet a diverse group of professionals
learn more about the Decatur community and beyond
network for business and fun
or make the world a better place

Keep up with our Inbound and Outbound Exchange Students using the Rotary Exchange Website. Here you will find bios and blogs from all the students including Decatur's own students.
It's easy to keep tabs on what our exchange students are doing via the Rotary Exchange Student Website. Inbound and Outbound Students have their own journal area and can let us know how they are doing in their journey.

The Story on Club
Banners
One of Rotary’s most colorful traditions is members’ exchanging club banners. Clubs display their own decorative banners at meetings and district events, and Rotarians who travel to other countries often take these banners to exchange with the clubs they visit.
