Community Grants 2026-2027
The Decatur Rotary Club invites applications from nonprofit organizations for our 2026-27 Community Grants. Applications should be for projects or programs that focus on literacy or youth at-risk and that will have a positive impact on the Decatur / DeKalb County community and its residents.
Applications must be received by midnight on May 29, 2026. Only online applications submitted through our form will be considered.
Eligibility:
- Must be a 501(c)3 organization
- Program or project must be based in Decatur / DeKalb County and serve those residents
- Program or project must focus on literacy or at-risk youth
- Program or project must take place any time between June 2026 and May 2027
Applications will be evaluated on the following:
- Impact that grant will have on the community at large
- Timing of project: will it take place within the specified 2026-27 time frame?
- Use of funds: funds cannot be used for general operating support. Applicants must seek funding for a specific program or project.
Requirements:
- Complete and submit the online application
- Provide 501(c)3 tax-exempt letter from the IRS
- Provide annual budget of organization for current fiscal year
- Provide budget for program or project for which funding is being sought
- Agree to submit a brief report upon completion of the funded project, along with promotional materials
- Agree to acknowledge support from Decatur Rotary Club
