Help Celebrate Tucker Day, May 2

On Saturday, May 2, the Mainstreet Tucker Alliance shuts down the streets in downtown Tucker for Tucker Day. The fun starts at 9 am with an opening ceremony, followed by a parade and live music on two stages, plus food trucks and local vendors.

The DeKalb Rotary Council is a bronze sponsor of Tucker Day, and Decatur Rotary members will join other DeKalb clubs at the Rotary booth (near FODAC’s booth). It’s a great opportunity to promote Rotary and to talk to prospective members about what we do and why.

Join us for a fun time! Sign up for a shift at the booth HERE.

Decatur Club Wins Public Image Award

Decatur Rotary won the Public Image award for our membership tier (category III), which was presented to President Alison Weissinger at the opening event of the District Conference last week. Way to go, Team Public Image!!! Honestly, it was an honor just to be nominated.

Special thanks to Marcia Lampe, of Lampe-Farley Creative, for her design and layout help with our newsletters, table toppers, and various PR pieces. We couldn’t do it without you!
