. . . . . SERVICE PROJECT: Huge Participation for MLK Day Service Project

Thanks to everyone who came out to help with house repairs last weekend. We had a huge turnout of volunteers, and got a lot of work done: screening in a porch, replacing bathroom vanities, installing sheetrock, clearing out the basement, and more.
Special thanks to Doug Robinson and Bob Ettensohn for keeping us all organized and on task.
The Decatur High School PTSA invites the members of the Decatur Rotary Club to join us for a delicious morning breakfast and community fun at the inaugural PTSA Pancake Breakfast. Bring your family, friends, and neighbors to support the school while enjoying a hearty breakfast together. Come and go based on your schedule during the three-hour window.

Last week, Doug Robinson introduced our lunch speaker, Dale Cardwell, a consumer investigative reporter. He emphasized the emotional triggers that can lead to making financial mistakes, and he had great advice about how to play “offense” and “defense” to avoid falling for bad or fraudulent deals.
Also, last week, Superior Court judge Brian Lake was officially inducted into the club. Welcome, Judge!
