Applications are now open to host a high school exchange student in the City of Decatur school system for the 2026-27 year. Meeting Recap: March 6
Last week, Kelly Caudle introduced our lunch speaker, Patrick Bryan, the city manager of Avondale Estates. Patrick had lots of good news to share about the city, including updates on the “complete streets” project and a major multifamily residential development in the works. He also shared that January 1, 2028, is Avondale’s centennial, so there are lots of events being planned to celebrate that milestone.
Some returning visitors joined us last week:
• TJ Dunnivant, guest of Lawrence Sharp
• Celie and George Howard, guests of John Bennett
We hope to see you again soon!
