Jeff Hullinger with Georgia Public Broadcasting

Jeff Hullinger - Executive Producer of Local Content for Georgia Public Broadcasting - is one of Atlanta's best known and most versatile broadcasters, since 1984.

He's served as main news and sports anchor at 11Alive/WXIA Atlanta, Sports Director/main sports anchor at WAGA Fox-5 Atlanta, radio voice of the Atlanta Falcons, afternoon drive radio news anchor at WSB Atlanta, front line play-by-play for ESPN College Football, Basketball (men & women) and Arena League Football,  as well as fill-in on CNN's Talkback Live.

Jeff anchored the Peachtree Road Race coverage, providing play-by-play on July 4th for decades.  Favorite Atlanta on-air moment, though: Broadcasting a Falcons/Saints game with Mikael Gorbachev.  Jeff anchored almost 9 hours of live local television when the bomb exploded during the 1996 Summer Olympic Games in Atlanta.  He began his career at KSL Television in Salt Lake City, then KCNC Television in Denver.  Jeff has also been inducted into the Colorado State University-Pueblo Mass Communication Alumni Hall of Fame; and gave the 2017 Spring Commencement speech to 10,000 at CSU-Pueblo.

He has two adult children; one in public education, the other a neuroscience major at Georgia Tech.
